Cedar Mill Group Launches Power Outage Story Contest
Please Note: This contest is expired.
WEBSTER, N.H., Nov. 5, 2012 – Cedar Mill Group is asking New Hampshire residents to submit their horrible power outage stories for a chance to win a free home generator hookup.
The Granite State has had its share of major events in recent years that have caused mass outages. Last week, Hurricane Sandy knocked out power in over 200,000 homes throughout the state. Thousands of residents were without electricity for days.
To enter the contest, CMG is asking residents to like their Facebook page – located at www.facebook.com/cedarmillgroup – and write on their wall detailing their power outage experience. The contest ends on December 31 and the winning story will be picked in early January.
If the winner’s home already has a generator hookup, he or she can transfer the service to anyone in New Hampshire. For more information about the contest, email Brett Cusick, CMG’s Director of Operations, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is the second contest CMG has held recently. This summer, residents submitted pictures of their ugly kitchens for a chance to win free design and 3D modeling services valued at $5,000 and a $1,500-$1,800 Evolve Series Pro or Plus drinking water reverse osmosis system from Dunbarton’s Capital Well Clean Water Center.
